Here is what is on my menu this week :

Caesar Grilled Pork Chops🔒

Flank Steak with Peach Salsa

Bun-less Cowboy Burger🔒

Balsamic Chicken Summer Squash Salad

🧂 Just a Dash….of bariatric pillar tips.

Berries are SO good this time of year! My first tip is to pair protein with your fruit but my actual tip this week is to wash your berries with water and vinegar, then pat dry, let dry a bit longer, and move them back to the plastic container lined with paper towels. This will clean your berries and keep them fresh longer!

Bariatric Pillar Product of the Week

Two items to feature this week! A family friend is having surgery next week and will be on her Pureed phase while on a Summer vacation. My best tip for her was to travel with a hand blender and a cup (even better when it has a lid). Whether she's making her protein shakes more smooth, or blending beans with some taco sauce, this thing will be super handy for her!

You may not need this if you're past the healing phase, but if you are still using some protein shakes for sweet cravings or after exercise...my preferred way to make a shake is with a hand blender (better than a shaker cup). I still love my Vitamix for protein smoothies with frozen fruit but if it's just blending protein powder and almond milk, this is easier.

BERRY STAND SALE | BERRY STAND SALE | BERRY STAND SALE [~Contact.FirstName~ ], The last couple of weeks have been blurred by my fun yet wild entry into Summer mode. ☀️ This was me today *no filter* sitting poolside with one kid on the playground and the other learning the butterfly stroke. Which by no means I ever have learned myself! Typically (since 2018), June has meant prepping for a “Get Focused Challenge” for my Premier Access Members. But this year? I’ve careened into Summer and can...

If cookout season feels more like dried up chicken season, then we gotta talk!! Gravitating away from meats and leaning more towards yogurts, soups, and tuna salad is a tale as old as time for post-op ones. While you're allowed to go soft on occasion, it doesn't have to (shouldn't have to) be your daily MO! This week's blog is for you 🎁 But not the only thing hanging around this email! The menu, tips, products, and member news is full of goodies too! Our member scavenger hunt is starting off...
